Considering the free vs. open vs. shared software misunderstandings I thought about adding even more uncertainity. Here I ask the question:
If you use "Shared Source" license for your software does this make it "Shareware"?
Simple line of reasoning below:
Shared-Source Software -> Shared Software -> Shareware ???
There is a lot of software available under commercial licenses. However many, many people still use unofficial copies of such software. They mey be pirating it, but in fact they may *share* it among themselves.
Now think about Shared-Source license and Windows. Is it shareware then?
